I get this question a lot. Isn’t there too much tourist traffic living that close to Disney World? You may be surprised at the answer.
Horizon West borders Walt Disney World property on it’s northern and western border. Horizon West is so close that most neighborhoods can see the nightly fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.Living here myself, I can tell you that it is pretty special having fireworks 365 day a year. It never gets old.
Horizon West is in a very fortunate spot. When Disney World was built, most of its access was on the opposite side of where Horizon West is. I4 runs along Disney’s eastern border and Route 192 runs along the southern border, providing the main entrance to Disney World. These areas are were all the tourist traffic and tourist related businesses exist.
We are on the opposite side, where up until recently, there was nothing but orange groves. Before this area had a chance e to become another tourist area, the landowners, County and State got together to come up with our master planned community. We don’t deal with the tourist traffic, but we have all the benefits of being close to Disney.
We would love to show you around. We know you will love it here.
